In short
This is a static website. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, embeds no third-party content and loads its fonts from its own server. Personal data is processed in only two situations: technically, when your browser requests a page, and when you write to us by email.
Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by [Hosting provider, legal name and address]. When you visit, the server automatically records information that your browser transmits:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of the request
- requested page or file, and the amount of data transferred
- referring URL, if transmitted
- browser type and version, operating system
- HTTP status code
This data is needed to deliver the website, keep it stable and secure, and detect misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable operation of the website. Log files are deleted after [number] days, unless a security incident requires longer retention to investigate it. The hosting provider processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Contact by email
If you write to us, we process the data you send (typically your name, email address, organization and the content of your message) in order to answer your request and, where relevant, to prepare a masterclass or initiative with you.
Where your message relates to a possible collaboration, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps). Otherwise it is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We delete your data once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations, for example under tax law, require us to keep it.
Emails are processed by our email provider, [email provider, legal name and address], under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Masterclasses and initiatives
This website does not process registrations. Where a masterclass or initiative uses a registration form, a learning platform or a video conferencing service, you will receive separate privacy information at that point, naming the tools and organizations involved.
External links
This website links to external websites, for example YouTube, LinkedIn and the websites of partner organizations. No data is transmitted to these providers until you follow a link. From that point on, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
- have inaccurate data rectified (Art. 16)
- have your data erased (Art. 17)
- restrict processing (Art. 18)
- receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20)
- object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21)
To exercise these rights, write to the email address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Alt-Moabit 59-61, 10555 Berlin, www.datenschutz-berlin.de.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
Security and changes
This website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted connection (TLS). We will update this policy when the website or the legal requirements change.
